A. Poalas

Mr. Poalas joined the SoReCC ASBL team as a Risk Engineer, specializing in technical and operational risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.


He holds a 5-year Diploma in Civil Engineering (M.Eng.) with specialization in Structural Engineering, from the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A., 2022) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in «Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures» from the same University (2024).


He is currently pursuing a PhD in the field of industrial production networks risk assessment and functional recovery after catastrophic events.


Mr. Poalas, a Chartered Engineer since 2023 (member of the Technical Chamber of Greece), specializes in advanced risk assessment and mitigation strategies for industrial production networks, with a particular focus on enhancing resilience and ensuring functional recovery after catastrophic events such as earthquakes.


His professional experience includes contributions to EU-funded research projects and involvement in the structural design of infrastructure for the Hellenic Air Force during his military service.
